3 weeks and counting……..
Yes, there remains only a few days now before my flight to Milan (June 16th), where I will catch a very short train ride up to Como which is situated just a couple of miles from the Swiss border. This is where our bike ride will begin, the following Monday (June 18th).
Rob is driving with his Dad from the UK ; where he will hope to make the 13 hour car drive in one go. Hardcore! With just a day in Como to enjoy the view and surrounding area, we will head out to begin stage one of our trip early on Monday morning.
But for those of you who are keen to know what route we shall be taking, here it is below. I have included departure and destination names, distance, a snap shot of the types of terrain that will throw itself at us along the way, and the route between each point.
